yea but you ride a 1500 and I notice when looking for "stuff" for my 800 they have a limited amount but the 1500 man thay have a lot of custom and ready to buy parts.......

now I'll post a list for you for my winter projects this winter I have the list already started.....lol.....I'll pm it to you soon....

This is just the horn with the front grill but no round back casing! Like I said those are easy to find, but the complete thing is another story! I finally found a back casing but now have to find on what it fit

Nanook you can find these on eBay quite often.Just type in Indian horn on Google as well.The old "real" ones are pricey but, you can find reproduction ones fairly priced.If I come across any I'll be sure to post it here for ya.Believe Chief had one for sale as well awhile back,not sure if It's still available or not.

Where could I find reproductions?.....The only one I find on ebay cost 180usd and +

Like I said the one without the round back casing are easy to find, but i haven't seen the one with the casing anywhere except on old indian like on this one

I did a bit of searching without any luck thats why i'm asking . The horn part is pretty simple but the casing and the cover are difficult to find and matching those is another tough one! I'm pretty sure someone here been there before....anyone?

The old Indians had various different horns, some were mounted above the leaf spring and below the headlight, some were mounted on the bars and some were mounted on the frame..Those old horns were common on many vehicles at the time and you may find one similar to the one you want on any car of the same period..

You could try looking in scrap yards or you could try to google vintage horns or reproduction vintage horns..You could get lucky.

I would love to install a horn similar to old indian, on top of the handlebar just above the headlight. I've seen a few pictures of drifter with such horn, but have'nt seen any available parts and don't how they are mounted. It seem that there is a rounded back cover similar to a spot, but don't know where to get them and wich horn it fits, the same for the bracket? Thanks for your help!
