Removing epa and adjusting the a/f screw per RussianWolfs site

Finally got to take the Drifter for a spin. It was a cold morning (50*) and she took a long time to warm up. Sputtered and wanted to die till she fully warmed up. Also had not-so-loud popping on decel.

RussianWolf's site says by removing the epa stuff it will help with the popping on decel and richening the a/f mixture screw will help on cold starts so this will be the first mod on the Drifter.

Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.
She has aftermarket exhaust and won't know if the jets and needle have been changed till the carb is removed.
