There are quite a few ideas on the web about making your own, in addition to the method PC listed, there are 2 more.   I looked at making baffles for my hardkrome pipes, but realized they already have baffles, and they're welded in, so I left it alone.

eye-bolt/washer method - I didn't care for this idea. (pic 1)

Second option - this is the option I was going to use - seemed like the combination of best/easiest. Unfortunately, I can't find the original info I was looking at, but basically, start with the baffle-pipe with the slots in it (same as the starting point for PC's link - Pic 2) and then use an air-chisel to punch in all of the slots towards the inside of the pipe - you end up with a baffle that resembles the one in pic 3.  you can wrap or not wrap.

If you decide you want to make them yourself, you can buy pipe at any muffler shop.  I'd recommend stainless.

No Worries

Where can I find a replacement baffle for my roadhouse pipe? The po had it but wouldn't send it to me after the purchase of the bike. Can you buy them anywhere?
