Seat comfort

Anyone have any suggestion to improve comfort on the stock 2-up seat? I can't afford to go the aftermarket route. I am thinking about getting a seat pad. Any recommendations? I am a fat bastard and that stock seat was killing my tailbone after a couple hours the other day. I have a nice ride to DC planned in May and I would like to be able to walk when I get there.
