if I remember correctly it was more mechanical then I am able to do at home....

I would really like to have one on my bike too, and it is not that heavy you could not put it up on the center stand.

Yeah I read the differant posts I could find but these were not cheap but Im tired of the sidestand and no ability to set the bike upright if theres clearance it would be great.

The 1200 voyager has a center stand but its higher off the ground. But it also weighs 816 lbs and it pops right up.

Hey Teamster, let us know how that works out.  I remember reading someone retrofitted a harley center stand once, but I didn't know anyone made one to fit the Drifter.  I'm sure other folks will be interested, me included.

Has anybody ever tried this centerstand from Chrome World?? Wished ma Kaw would have put center stands on the nomad and drifter like they did the 1200 voyager I have. The side stand is shaky at best. Anyways I think I am going to order one of these.
