Metzeler ME 888 Marathon Ultra

Pilgrim,I think you'll be satisfied with the Metzlers,IMOP.Not to sure about the 888,but I run the 880 on my bobber and am very pleased with them.Recently replaced the Drifter tires from Dunlop with the 880 WWW's.Honestly the WWW's changed the look of MA-DEUCE tremendously,once again IMOP.Good luck with your tires and hope that your happy with them.

I called them and they said " 20% does not apply to tires" They are not WWW, but blackwall.

So...I order my tires last night  online and then get an email from the site this morning 20% off sale.
Anyway, got two 880 Mets for $255 w/ free shipping.

Metzeler tubes are sold out most everywhere I looked.

Pilgrim,if you call them they would honor that 20%,at least they should.Like to know were you scored these for $255 with free shipping,that's a good deal.

I had a pair of Metzeler 880s on my '95 800A Vulcan standard and loved the handling, braking, and predictability in wet conditions. They were also wearing very well but I didn't get a final figure as my dealer got in this new '99 model called a 1500 Drifter and I fell in love with it and sold my 800.

Just found a screw in my  rear tire and it forced me too purchase new tires for the front and back.  Now I am rolling on some Metzler 880 white walls ....,. but they have zero miles .  I Will know , more in the spring about how they handle!   The best part is they look wicked!

I have the ME 880 Marathon's, and am really interested in how well they will handle the roads here and how long they will last.  Of course being that I am old I gog the WWW's for the looks......

sorry when I ordered the tires I had them add the tubes and rim liners.....are they the Marathon Ultra's in WWW?

Any reviews or experiences with this new Metzeler tire? It is supposed to be superior to the ME880.
Anyone know the item number for Metzeler tubes?
