Only you know how it feels when its on. There's really no reason to be twisting that grip much in any event.

Ok cool.  Will not use the epoxy for the grips.  Maybe superglue to just keep em from slipping under vibration.

Geez, talk about overkill!!! You may want to replace the grips before you replace the bars... with epoxy you will have a hell of a time getting the grip off and the bar clean enough for a new grip.

You just need it strong enough not to slip under routine use... in the old days the friction between the rubber and the bar was enough! ... and we loved it! <g>

So the epoxy I bought isn't a smart idea then?  That's what I was going to use....

Well... grips don't have to stick like cement... I've used hair spray in the past to stick them on. You don't want them loose, and they should take some torque to move them, but there is really no good reason on street bikes like ours to have them permanently attached... IMHO.

Heh, installed those suckers.  Lost the dadgum screw for the left side mirror clamp like a moron.  Let me tell ya something about the ISO Grips.  The supplied glue....crap.  All I did was twist and the glue broke free and I just wiggled the grips off in tact. So now, I still have an extra (shorter) left side ISO grip made for a harley.  Below are before and after photos.

Went to the swap today down by the Rangers ballpark.    Only took $78 with me.  (cost bleepin' $5 to park this year along with the $8 to get in.  :|  Bikes got in free)  Could've purchaced a set of fishtail mufflers like on the softail springer for $80 but couldn't justify spending all my dough on one thing.  (probably could've talked him to $78)  Got a set of handlebars that are a bit higher and raked differently and a pair of ISO grips that fit for $12. The grips themselves were $2 because the throttle end was broken...not the side that's glued on so for two bucks, not a big deal.  Pretty good prices for things out there.  Wish they sold metric stuff out there though!!!
