RATMAN,I checked the for sale section,being I'm on my ride to work and gives me a chance to continue my search first thing.That's the seat set up I took off and is now hanging in my garage.I'm after that solo seat rail....Mo-tiques web site has been down for sometime now,believe me I would have rathered paid half the price then I did....Thanks for the info though,my man....

wooohooo,I was able to find an engine guard.(for my 800)Can find them all day long for the 1500 Drifter.Not so common for the 800 for what ever reason.Just have to have it powder coated for an extra 25 bucks.Total cost was 300$,little expensive,but I think it will look good on the bike....

Troll,how much difference, if any at all, in the 1500 & 800 when it comes to a seat rail?

Well, since I already have an engine guard bar, I think I'm more interested in a seat rail. I have some ideas, and I'm going to check the dimensions of an H-D buddy seat rail, and how close the mount points are to begin with.....

Recovering H-D owner...W-650 Cafe' No excuses...Ride it or sell it to someone who will!

Ok Ladies and Gents,

I'm gonna go out on a limb here.I am well aware of all the knowledge and skills level that many of my fellow members bring to this Forum.For instance Ted builds knob shifters,rear fender racks etc....49 is working on designing a shifter himself as we speek.Troll and PC have knowledge and or the capabilities to find what ever we are looking for,CHEIF put this Forum together for all of us to enjoy and learn from one another,RATMAN and others working on center lifts, to make life easier for all of us.(not to mention making tin hats,and one hell of a CHRISTMAS decorater  ;) )RATMAN FOR PRESIDENT!So why has no one here either thought or is in the process of making solo seat rails or crash bars for the Drifters?I mean they are in such high demands,in my opinion.So for all of you "highly motivated builders"I am wondering how many other Drifters would by the two products that i have mentioned above,I can't be the only one looking for these!......1=SOLO SEAT RAIL

2=CRASH BAR

very fine print.....DRIFT 1 gets half the proceeds :D :D :D ;) LOL

PC,not sure if i posted this in the right section,being you need an invite to the PUB?
