Additional lights for my Drifter 800

  nope visors are going to remain chrome on all the lights as are the retaining rings, the actual bar and the main housings will be powder coated gloss black to match the headight on the 99 Drifter. Retain that old school look I like so much.
As for your ride, I can see the visors on the head light and the signal lights.....looking at the pictures of the bike you could leave them chrome, black or ven green like the rest of the bike, what ever it takes to float your boat really.

Appreciate the many answers !
Now it's time to study the different solutions...now i' ve clear that just attach the additional lights to existing lightbar will not work. Therefore i'll have to buy a ligyt bar too....
And i just realiced that the cost of the two additional light, plus universal adapter, plus the three visor will not cost me 99usd, but 160usd....i divided by 1.30 instead of multiplied by 1.30, hihihihi...

  the front ends ar ethe same as the F&S light bar is for a 1500 Vulcan....

800 and 1500 front ends are supposed to be the same...Here's my 1500 with the F&S light bar, 4.5 inch lights...Nomad windshield

I did the nobar trick ( http://www.vulcandrifterriders.com/lightbar.html ) and used 4.5" lights.  Worked great for me.  It's tight, but there's about 1/8" between the lights and the headlight.

   ok seeing as we are riding almost identical bikes and I am adding a light bar perhaps I can help you out a bit. The current light bar on your ride is 13" wide, the Kawasaki Fire & Steel one I just purchased is 17" wide. I was going to use the stock light bar but then found the lights would be too crowded on the front and I would need to use like the little 2.5" lights and not the larger ones, also you will have to use the falt/thin spot lights or they will bang into the windscreen because the light bar actually is forward a bit to clear that. You could overcome all that if you make your own brackets or spacers to move the lights out and away for the headlight and the windscreen. I got a deal on the light bar, and will be taking it in for powder coating to black in the new year before riding season starts. I can take a few pictures for you tomorrow about this time and post them for you if that will help. Later.

Forgot you might want to check out this link www.mo-tique.com they have a bracket set that mounts to the front forks.

These are the Additional lights offered to me by another Vulcan owner

He wants USD 99 for the two additional lights+three visors (the one of the main light included)+standard grip. (without lightbar).

I carry a Puig Windscreen

What do you think ? Is it worth to try it?
