I will once its finalized, i made up some bracket by bolting a few different pieces together. once i get everything finalized im going to take it back apart and make more permanent  brackets using all the same size steel and weld it up. It just may be a while before i get it finished. I get time to work on things in spurts, which sucks because projects take forever it seems

Aaron, I'd be REAL interested in that!  I've got the matching tour pack (It's been named "the apartment" for it's size) and have thought about adding the bags for some time.  If you can, take a lot of good pics with measurements, and a short write-up on the job.  I'd be most appreciative, and I'd bet that Chief would like to add it to the Mod's section of the main site.

I just finished installing some harley flh hard bags (bottoms only atm)

just so they wouldnt stick way past the back i had to made shock cutouts and even trim one corner so it didnt hit my seat.

once ive completed the project , i.e. get some lids,  cut the lids and then re-fiberglass everything ill post pics up.... but idk how long it'll be.

Okay, as promised, here is a material list, shop drawing, and how-to for my turn signal relocation brackets. You will have to open both attachments for the "how-to"; could not get it to upload as a wps. file, so had to scan both pages and attach them separately.
Sorry for any inconvenience;
Hope this helps;

I sent it to you earlier this year; must have fallen through the cracks. I have it on my other computer, along with a materials required list. I'll send it to you again when I get to the other computer.

If you build your own signal light relocation brackets, you can go to a longer bag; I did that, moved my signal lights back about 5" to accommodate a set of large leather saddlebags. I can email you a shop drawing for relocation brackets if you want.

Are you taking into accommodation for a cutout for the shocks.  that might give you the extra couple inches.

I'm toying with the idea of installing some hard bags on my drifter.  Would any one know what the maximum length could be?  Searching this site, it appears that 25
' to 27" would be the max with out having to relocate the turn signals.  I took a tape to my Drifter and it seems even at 25" the bag would hit the turn signal on the back and the passenger floor board on the front.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
