Thanks RatMan, Much obliged, Gotta say I dig the "Duster/Goggle" look in your photo it's Classic Bro!

DC, Just posted pics in the Mods and Tips, When I added the Caddy Tail Lights I pulled the turn wires and tapped into the brake and run for the Caddy Lights, I bought beehive running lights from NAPA and changed them from single to dual element sockets so they are turn and run then mounted them to the reflector brackets on the license plate, There was enough room behind the tail light to tuck everything in. My whole purpose was to get more light at the tail end, Rather than just a run and brake in the rear I now have five running lights, Three brake lights and the turn signals, I once had an Art Instructor who told me, "Form Follows Function" I have my own saying, "Luck is the residue of Design" lol

Thanks pcarrell & 49Reo,  I'd like to share some of the Mods and solutions I've had in making "Evelyn" who she is... Is there a place on the site to post these? I'll have to take some new photos of the Caddy Tail Light solution to keep them from sagging.

I'd be interested in seeing the Caddy Tail Light anti-sag solution when you post it.  Very cool!  Did I understand correctly from a previous post, you also have the brake and running light mod in them too?

My ignition relocation was slightly different from JoBear's and a few others I've seen in that I didn't want the screws showing on the top of the dash plate. While I have you Veteran members here, Is there a way to add a pic of my bike to my avatar or am I only able to use the ones listed? Thanks for letting me bend you ears (actually bend your eyeballs)

49Reo

Well now, Mr. Baker; that is one sweet bike. If I had it and you had a feather in your britches, we'd both be tickled! :o

Man, the cagers were definitely scarce!  Looks like a great time!

ChilliDrift

Well, you can give it a shot, but tell them Buffalo Man. Years ago..I showed up for an annual camp out with my buffalo hide strapped to my bike to sleep on and it stuck as my nickname. The food is fresh ground sirloin burgers, 1/2 pounders butter toasted buns and fresh cut fries. Heck you make it down her and I'll gladly buy you both dinner.
Ya know, down here they just don't pull bikes over. I'm not sure why, but I can't remember ever seeing a bike pulled over in Ohio.

CDNRatMan

a lot of bikes so the food must be good, so question is 49 and I ride into that palce and order our food and then tell the person to put it on Mr. ChilliDrifter's bill , what happens or do we drop the Mr.?......lol

Yes glad some one is out riding....

I went to my sister's 5 hours south of here and came home Sunday and saw a lot of bikes out for their last ride......one group of about 10 crotch rockets that pasted me and I had to ensure I was in foward gear........30 kms down the highway they wer all pulled over and OPP (like your State Troopers) were having fun looking at papers and tags and such......

Won't be much longer... I'm above it ready to start riding with till I see green leaves on trees.

49Reo

Well, I'm glad SOMEBODY is out riding; not much chance of that up here, although I am always hopeful......

Out for a final ride yesterday,  stopped by a favorite spot for a burger. Prob 60 bikes while we were there. With more coming and going. It was good to see everyone out. Saw several large groups of riders. Got about 325 mi in Sat and Sun. Was good to be able to knock around the hills for while. I of course was the only Drifter, there were some various other metrics but mosly HD's some pretty nice, one little Honda rebel bobber that was kind of cool. And a nice Triumph tiger. A BMW rat bike that my friend Red dog rode in. He has an old knuckle I always love seeing. I probably should of took some closeups, but it was nice to see everyone out. Jimbos bar and grill if you are ever in the Hocking Hills area of southern Ohio.

Very cool duds, RatMan!  I dig that site too.  Gives me some ideas.

CDNRatMan

All very nice....KS I had neighbours in CO who were from Scott City and moved back there......always thinging of going down to visit them....perhaps....one day....

Where have you been hiding that at troll?  It's very cool!

Troll

I'm working, slowly, towards the euro-chopper....just added a new tail light from a '29 model A....polished stainless, with the lower section as a tail light, and the upper as the brake light. The top says "stop" in amber lettering. I was going to use the Vincent style light (miller) , until I found out it's too small to be legal.

Recovering H-D owner...W-650 Cafe' No excuses...Ride it or sell it to someone who will!

KsDrifter

My current stable-

My '02 Drifter, known affectionately as "The Pig".  I bought her from my boss in May of '11 with 5600 miles on her, and proceeded to ride the crap out of her, lol! My wife and I have put many miles on her going to the gulf coast to visit family and she's got just over 28k on her now ;D

My little hot-rod, an '06 HD XL1200C that I picked in Dec. of '09 with 5500 miles all stock and every winter I'll mod her some more, just over 24k on her now

This is another fun one I picked up this past Feb. a '76 XLH 1000, I've done a couple cosmetic things so far(bars and seat)but she'll be getting chopped ;D

CDNRatMan

I think I have/had reletives in Ohio  not sure anymore.

Thanks guys. It was a great afternoon. Saw some beautiful scenes. I should of stopped and taken a few from the ridge. Something about those views from the top. Heres me and my hired passenger:-)

Had to go back up the ridge while at work today to get some pics.
