Hey Moonblaze , I'm in Tecumseh Ontario, just outside Windsor, the southern most point in Canada. My drifter came from L 'assumption outside of Montreal . The lady who owned it certainly loved it, She had a tattoo of it on her leg , that's dedication. I drove up with a trailer to pick it up and Montreal was the craziest place I've ever driven. I'm sure it was a beautiful city but I never saw anything but the car in front of me. No time to look left or right. Three lanes with a onramp and offramp evey 500ft. Those people were coming on whether you were there or not, you got out of the way.

Well there were no 1999 800's sold in USA... and the 1999 & 2000 parts are the same, so use the 2000 parts diagram.   Or go to the Canadian kawasaki site for the 99.

I live in Franklin, Tn.... but have lived in several countries and many US states.

Wow you are very nice ton answer to me !

Chief : your link stop at 2000, my motorcycle is 1999, you are fine anyway ;)
Troll and cochise : Thank yooooou !

I'm curious, where you from chief, Troll and cochise ?

cochise

Hey Moonblaze , You can go to E bay (usa) type in " manual 800 drifter " Several come up for $ 30 to $40.00 . You can get it in an electronic version cheaper but I always like the paper. You can open it up beside you while your working on your bike or take it into the " library " with you .

Troll

I usually go to http://www.bikebandit.com    The oem parts section is quite extensive, and gives you part numbers and exploded diagrams to look at, and a way to order the parts that are still available.

Recovering H-D owner...W-650 Cafe' No excuses...Ride it or sell it to someone who will!

chief

No, I think there were more 1500's in USA, more 800's everywhere else. But the diagrams are available for both on those sites.

Yes, buykawasaki.com. accessories area. There is likely a Canadian version....

Also ronayers.com and some others has microfiche parts listings.

Hello Caroline. I'm in southern Ontario but my 2002 Drifter  came from Montreal , from a lady who loved it. I bought a factory manual on e bay about $ 15.00 and it shows every part in detail. That will show you the part and then you can search for it on line or at bike shops. Welcome to the site.

Moonblaze

Hi ! I'm not very good in english but i will to try...
I'm from Quebec city (canada), i have Drifter 800 year 1999
I search site with mechanic part of my motorcycle, in details
Would there be a site which would allow me to see every part of the motorcycle to know which part I have to order?
It seems to me that there is a site which exists on this subject.

I thank you!!!

Caroline
