You could always use tunable baffles.

The technology isn't old, it goes back to the 60's - 70's, if you would like to see the dyno's and build a set of your own, go to this site:

Otherwise Gman Industries makes a nice looking set in 3 sizes for different diameter pipes at reasonable prices dnd they're nice to look at.:

I put a set into the collector pipes on my shovel drag bike...They were called anti reversion cones, and they did seem to help the low end a little...It was a 98" S&S dual plug long stroke (5") monster...11.91, 115.7 mph, top of 3rd gear...7,000 rpm! They are cheap, and can't really hurt, so why not try them....

That would probably be a good solution.  It should help with scavenging, maybe bump the gas mileage up a bit and give you a nice kick in the pants.  Seeing as V&H has talked about discontinuing our pipes lately (maybe already has), I don't know how easy they'll be to find though.

A guy that I work with use to build and drag race Harleys.
He suggested I use torque cones, because I'm running non-baffled Vance and Hines
Longshots, to regain some back pressure.
Does anybody have any experience or thoughts on this...
