gas milage

Since I modded the intake, I've been averaging 45 mpg...35-40 before that...Usually run no faster than 70 (indicated 72) Tickets get a bit expensive here, too!

I'm getting about 40-45 avg. in city(San Antonio)..stoplights and open hiway at 70mph.

Ease up a little more with your right hand, I'm running average 45+ mpg.
But I don't run quite that hard, usually around 70 mph.
A ticket at that speed in Ontario can get pricey....

So I took the bike on the 1st long run about 460 miles one way. so I link up with my brothers and we run about 90pmh there and I am getting about 110-115 before the gas light comes on. so that's 3.5 gals about 31 mpg. so I am thinking maybe  because of the clutch issue ..but I didnt feel it slipping.. so on the way home I split off and I top off with the gas just coming up in the filler neck I run 75mph and the next fill up is 150 miles later and I put 3.8 gal in which gave me about 40mpg which seems better. how does this compare to some of your runs and MPG
