Rear head gasket

I have a 1500 1999 Kawasaki Drifter.
There is a slight leak from the rear head gasket.
Does anyone know if the tank has to be removed,? or does the engine have to come out?
I don't know if it can be replaced while in place.
Your answer will help me figure out the cost in man hours.
