I just stopped at the Kawasaki dealer, and he assures me that there is no chain oiler on your bike. I suspected as much, so either you are using WAY too much chain lube, or you have a countershaft seal leak.

I have scoured the net and the consensus seems to be that there is NOT an auto chain oiler.  Is this something that someone told you or just that your chains are oily as you stated?  Maybe you have a leak as Troll suggested or maybe there is one heck of a chain lube out there that some one used on them?

I know I read somewhere that it automatically oils the chain. I have two Drifters, both chains are oily, both whitewalls are oily. How about it does anyone know? Automatic oiler or not? I'm an old guy I could be wrong! LOL

Does it have an auto chain oiler? Maybe you have a leak from the output shaft (counter shaft) seal.

I would like to stop my automatic oiler on 800 Drifter. Can anybody tell me how to do this?? Thank You
