Bar end mirrors?

Bar end mirrors work very well in certain circumstances. I have 2 sets, one set is very large, and flag shaped, the other is a 3" round. I got them for my cafe' project, and after using both, I've settled on the 3" round. A lot of what works depends on the bars you are using. The flag style has a limited adjustment range, and didn't work with the pull back type of bar that the bike had, the other set would work with that bar, but I ultimately decided to put a set of "M" bars on, and either set would work, but the big ones looked out of place.  It's all up to you, of course, but the original Indian mirror (they only had one, on the left) was a 4" round on a straight stick.....kinda like a harley.

I haven't used bar end mirrors, but I have used 3 inch mirrors a lot. They work well IMHO.

Has anyone ever tried bar end mirrors on a Drifter (or any other large bike)?  Most of the ones I find are only 3" dia.  I thought they might look better than the ones that came on it.  So far I have never found rear view mirrors of any kind to work very well on any bike I've had and was wondering if bar end mirrors might work better.  Thaks again.
