Rear tire w/white bands for my 800 Drifter: yes or not !

Yeah, the white wall definitely works on the drifter. I also have Metz... hate cleaning them though... sometimes I think it might be worth a new set just so I'd not have to clean them!

IMHO nothing beats the look of the white wall tire. Just makes your ride pop. I have Metzlers on mine.

I found this on google images.  My bike has white walls on it.  Personally, I really like them - this was one of the features I was looking at when I was hunting for the bike.  I would have bought one with blackwalls, but my next tires would have been whitewalls, b/c I like them.

It's all up to what you like, though - 65 USD is a lot for a white tire stripe.  B/W or W/W either one is round and gets you down the road....  Think of it this way, though - with the USD devaluation, it's a lot less!!!

Hi everybody:

My read tire has reached time for an exchange, and now I'm evaluating chances to buy a standard black tire, or one with white lateral band. Standard tire for around 130 usd, and w/white band for 195USD. Both prices plus installation.

Does anybody have pictures of a red Drifter with the tires+white lateral band? Just to see if the new look is worth the extra cost.
