The most common problem with a floating caliper is the pins in the bracket seizing up. Remove the front caliper, take out the brake pads and pull the caliper off the pins. I always use silicone caliper lube on the pins, and this should be done every time you change the pads. You do not need to remove the caliper from the brake hose, unless the bracket won't come off...then you will need to do some serious work to get it apart.

New to posting, bear with me!  I am having trouble with the front and rear brake sticking at the wheel.  Been really fun trying to muscle this thing around when it doesn't want to roll freely.   Probably due to non use, and being under a cover outside during rainy season in Florida for a couple of months (she's back in a garage again now).  Tried to ride her a bit to work things loose, but didn't help much and I don't want to heat the brakes up too much riding it since they are grabbing.  Anyone know of a fix or tip to correct this?  Hoping you seasonal weather guys can help.  Thanks.
