thanks Chief, took to shop, 50/50 on them, started no speedo, then gas gauge slow, did not trust, fi light, on and off , power to speedo, had them change it, new, still no speedo, now replaceing the sensor , maybe this will do it , thanks . Finaly got my new solo corbin , love it , now speedo, I ready for some hiway

do you have a manual / wiring diagram?

What exactly isn't working? There are a number of sensors that provide signals to various bits of the speedo... fuel, temp, etc. If none of that works... you have more than a sensor problem.
For the speedo itself.

There is a speed sensor. The speed sensor is under the alternator out cover... square top plug type deal. You can use a hand tester, but you need a resister as well. The manual tells how to test it... may be worth simply replacing it.

speedo quit, bought new assembly, $300.00 still does not work. they say now a sensor, some where. any suggestions thanks. George, 2001, 1500 drifter
