The make a more "aggressive" compound that I will be ordering and trying.  Still have a few deeper scratches I would like to remove\reduce.  If that goes well I will also be smoothing out the edge of windscreen.

I've been wondering about the Mother's... I saw something about that or a similar product on Car Crazy the other day. I'm gonna do it myself.

Worked on bringing life back into a 10 year old windscreen that has seen much better days.  Using Mothers plastic polish I got rid of all the yellowing and almost all of the swirl marks.  It can be easily be seen through now but....I think my windscreen may have had a clean protective coating that may have been removed in a few places.  Either way its looks much better now.

just installed a back rest on my two-up seat. Now my wife will enjoy her rides at the drift-in a lot more, and so will I. She won't be leaning all over me. Not that I mind, but some times a guy needs a little space ;D. The mounting brackets were for a Honda 600. I had to cut away a few areas. I will do a few more things to it after I return from the Drift-in. For now it works and don't look to bad.

I turned the 1500 into a solo set-up, added a back rest, and put the luggage rack on where it isn't supposed to fit.  The seat is off an 04 Nomad (I just made new mounting brackets), the backrest is "custom" using a late model Nomad/V2K pad, and the luggage rack is OEM.

LV2RIDE

I took my bags and two up seat off the bike and now it is a solo polished machine...

Meridious

I changed spark plugs on my 03 800 today...got the NGK iridiums.  Little pricey, but NGKs always were.  Came in a 4-pack so I have two extras. Boy, if you are thinking about buying a drifter, make damn sure it has all the tools in the tool kit, or else youll be hurtin when it comes to a plug change!

I remember when I was younger, my dad had a couple of honda three wheelers that would go through plugs like nobodys business....he had a hard time finding NGKs for them, and when he did he didnt like getting them because they were double the price.  I think they lasted 4x as long as the cheapies he used to get though.  I dont plan on changing these iridium ones for a loooong time

Actually been doing alot! and getting ready for Drift In.  Made saddle bag bracket supports yesterday..... 2 weeks ago got new Pirellis front and rear.... Also switched to new fender light and got it lit....Made 2 shake down runs to check bike and my gear packing capabilities and made changes as needed...put a tool bag on the bike above the headlight......put a Harley tear drop tool kit for safe storage.... got a Heathers Leathers Solo seat and got it mounted with a Springer SETUP THAT REALLY WORKS! and I must apologize to the Indianizers but I did remove the Indian logos and fender light.  Jewell is going back to being a Kawasaki DRIFTER...He aint no Indian....He's BETTER!

1SG CAV

I had a new front tire mounted and my wife and I went for a nice ride. Weather has been awesome here. &0's and SUN... Can't believe it's not raining. So I put on the two-up seat and off we rode. Man can't believe it my bike has never run so good. ;D ;D 8)

Looks great on your bike!! I've been thinking of getting one for my bike. Is it easy to shift with, how far do you have to push or pull to change the gears.

WHOOOOPPPPEEEEE!!!!!!! Ride CAV ride!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D You got alot of miles to make up! Have fun and be SAFE!

1SG CAV

I fixed "1SG CAV" Then I took it for a very nice ride. It has never and I mean NEVER run this good since I've own it. Amazing that I found the problem in 9 hours and it took the mechanic three months and he couldn't. Now that I'm not giving my money to mechanics. I can spend it on dressing up my ride. Don't ya just love it when a plan comes together.
AnneOakley. It doesn't blow black smoke, it doesn't do the jitterbug either. It just runs and runs. I adjusted the TPS and fixed a partial broken wire to the TPS. Then re-installed my hypercharger. ;D 8)

Adams! Now that's what I'm talking about! Originality is the key to a cool bike. I love your new bars too!

I rode to the other end of the island and back, before the rain started back up. I'm suffering from Parked Motorcycle Syndrome. Sure wish spring would come to the PNW.

I went to a motoorcycle swap meet today and bought a chrome fender tip for $5. Came home and put it on the bike.

cochise

Hey I love that tin star. Thanks Chief.

1SG CAV

I hope you make home soon so you can enjoy the ride yourself.  My first bike sat four years before I returned home to ride it, so my sister rode it.

chief

<LOL>... been there (not Afghanistan)... it is interesting but riding is really something that takes on a whole new meaning when you are stuck away from home. Other than thinking of my wife, I probably thought more about riding than anything else when I was on a cruise.

Thanks for your service.

Since I'm in Afghanistan, I dreamed of what it would be like riding these roads over here.  In my opinion it would suck due to the potholes and dust, but I do miss my bike.  Poor thing is thousands of miles away...thankfully I have a wonderful brother who is really "biting the bullet" and riding it occasionally for me.

I had scratches on each side of the rear fender from the previos owner so today it was raining and I painted feathers on each side to cover them. I also installed my tach.
