Bars not the one we ride too

I used Flanders 1" N5 beach bars w/stock risers on my 2000 1500.
rise:  3.5"
pullback:  11"
center:  9.5"
width:  36.75"

The stock cables had to be re-routed and just barely make it, but they work.  I had to remove the cable guides and re-route the cables behind the forks but the switch was fairly simple.  They look and feel fantastic.  I can post some pictures of the bars and cable routing if you are interested in going this route.  Good luck.

Thanks for the tip about motionpro. I wanted to put on a 1 1/4"  beach bar,but didn't want to hassel with the cables. The 2"  riser on the stock bars is working right now for me at a fraction of the cost.......

yip motionpro is the key, they will make any cable in any length for you.  They rock!

Had the same problem, Put the Phat riser II on the bike with stock bars
It helps alot , not as good as 12" apes but close enough and you can use all the stock cables.  Chief also has the same riser and liked them.

My cables had to be 8" longer with the new beach bars I'm installing. www.motionpro.com is the company that is making them for me.

I was having that same problem on longer rides. The problem is the cables and wire on the Drifter don't move much, and I haven't seen where you can order 2" over, or 4" over stock length, like I've done with HD's. I put a set of 2" risers under my bars and it really makes a difference. It lets me bend my elbows just enough. And it doesn't pull my cables when I turn....

I was thinking of switchin out my bars for something more comfortable shoulders a bothering after long rides  any options  on  this please reeply .
ohh have 2004 1500 with stock bar and stock riser.
