Ignition Switch

Part number may be different due to COLOR difference only. If the 99/00 are black , that's likely the difference. But in this instance, the switch was used on Classics through 2004... so I don't know if the color is the primary difference. The switch has changed over the years and there is a new part number for it.

Kawasaki Parts lists the 99 & 2000 switch as differant from the 2001 & up.

Hello, I'm new to the drifter world. I recently just purchased a 2001 Drifter 1500 but it needs a ignition switch. I am trying to find out if a 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan VN1500 will be able to fit and work properly on my drifter.  Thanks for the help......
