I've got a buddy with a 800 Drifter. He's got cancer, and is  away in Mexico, taking a "cure". He's got a 1500 too. I have the 1500 running smooth, but I think it would be too big for him in his weakened condition. He really wants to ride the 800 again when he comes home. They have both been sitting in a garage for a couple years and I can't for the life of me get the 800 ronning. I've changed the fluids, filters, and plugs. If I spray starter fluid in the carb, it will fire up but only for a few seconds. A friend once told me that the 800 has a stop switch that stops fuel from flowing if it tips over on it's side for any reason. Is that true???? How do I reset the switch????? Any ideas what could be wrong here?????? I'd appreciate any help...
Thanks, jb
