They have arrested and are charging the truck driver.

  The black full fender is a Drifter; look at the engine, it's a Kawasaki, the rear fender support (whats left of it) is a Drifter rear support. Doesn't really matter; they are all fellow riders, brothers and sisters all. Hopefully no more of them succumb to their injuries; hopefully they will make full recoveries.

Yeah, but they think ALL v-twins are harleys, so it means nothing. After looking at that one pic, its clear one of the bikes was a drifter... 2001 probably.

 The news report I got said they were all Harley riders.
Driver of truck was shuffling paper work. this need to be jail time. Vehicular manslaughter at the least.

Looked at a series of pics and there is one with a full front fender... that's not a drifter emblem on the tank... but we change out emblems all the time.

We are coming into the riding season. Please be careful out there. But you know, when you are stopped at a red light there isn't a hell of a lot you can do - been there. I my case the van driver was too busy eating a PLATE lunch while driving. Fortunately, he bounced off of two cars before getting to me.

Man, that is TERIBLE!!  :( It reminds us that we need to be 10 times as diligent in our riding habits when on a motorcycle.. We not only need to be aware of our bikes but also what the people in vehicles are up to. We have to be so careful and aware of everybody out there; so many people texting, yakking on their cell phones, just not paying attention to what they need to be paying attention to. >:( You get in a fender bender with a truck you lose a bumper. You get in a fender bender when on a bike you lose a leg or worse.
Take care all, and have a good (and safe) riding season.

Just saw the news and there was a pretty bad accident down in Pheonix. A dump truck went thru a group of riders and the images i saw were not good. The thing that caught my attention was the full fender on one of the bikes.

I pray for those that are in the hospital and I pray for the families of the 3 that did not make it.
