The dates for Drift In ‘12 http://www.drift-in.org/  are officially set for Sept. 26-29, 2012 in Eureka Springs, AR(Further referred to as ES). http://www.eurekasprings.org/ This will be the same weekend as BBBBQ Bikes, Blues & BBQ http://www.bikesbluesandbbq.org/  in Fayetteville, AR now the 3rd largest Bike rally in the U.S.
 
 The location of the Dog Pound is the Country Mountain Inn http://www.countrymountaininn.com/  located at 4112 E. Van Buren(Hwy 62) on the eastern edge of Eureka Springs. Directly across the street is a RV parking and camping at The Kettle Campground http://www.kettlecampground.net/   
 
  The arrangement we have with the Country Mountain Inn is that they will hold   rooms for the VDOG Drift In group for these dates for 30 days or October 31, 2011. after that you are on your own as far as they will then release those rooms for others to reserve for BBBBQ for next year. The Drift In web site will have a list of all the other motels and camping locations in the area if you do not make your reservation by the 31st.
 
 The banquet, bike judging, 50/50 drawing will be held at the Forest Hill Restaurant http://www.foresthillrestaurant.com/   where our banquet was held at DI ‘07 when we embarked on ES in 2007 and yes we will have our own room again as last time.
 
 We will be joined again by Paul and Les Hands Of the UK as well as Alex(MAK) and Mona(HOGAN) of the land down under so this truly will be another International DI as in ‘06 in Prairie du Chien, WI when both couples joined us there as well. Paul and Les handle the VDOG site in the UK and very involved in the activities over there.
 
 We have plenty of time to plan. Let’s see how many Drifter Riders can make it to ES this next year! As usual, the Drift In is set up as a gathering of Vulcan Drifter riders and owners but EVERYONE is welcome to join us if they wish, please do so!
 
 Please check in with the Drift In web site for updates, details and registration should be starting shortly.
 If you wish to submit a logo design (3 colors max and in JPEGs, GIFs, BMPs, or PNGs
  Format please for the judging) for ‘12 please send to me at the address below. We would like to get his done ASAP so submissions should be placed no later than 10-31-11.

As of this date - we have gotten no additional information from the hosts for this Drift-In. Don't use previous year forms for registration. If they tell us anything else we will post it.

Posted in  Drift In/VDR/etc. folder as well just wanted to make sure all saw this. My humble apologizes for not getting with all of you sooner, I’ve been buried way too deep in things that required my full attention and priorities.  We really need a logo for Drift In ’12. http://www.drift-in.org/   I had asked for submissions re: this when a bunch my Drifter riding friends gathered in ES in September to get things set up and announced details for this years rally. Unfortunately it was at or towards the end of the post likely many or most didn’t get all the way to it.  Please submit to me your entry by May 25th at the latest to me atdsslinc@yahoo.com  For concerns of making the T-shirts the logo should be limited to 3 colors and please save the image in as high of quality format as possible or be able to convert to a higher quality format if needed in the future if needed.  Room update at Country Mountain Inn http://www.countrymountaininn.com/ as of a couple days ago they had 10 rooms remaining. All w/ 2 queen beds, 1 with a king. Because of the timing and location(same time as and within 50 miles of BBBBQ http://www.bikesbluesandbbq.org/ ) there is a 3 day minimum and $82.00 per day.  I have been to ES many, many times and have several contacts in the area as I hosted DI ’07 there as well. The only other time I was able to go to the drift-in was in 2004 in Texas.  I am looking forward to doing it again this year finally!  Is there some place on this site that lists how many have signed up yet?  I sold my 1500 to my big brother after I lovingly put 40k miles on it and he and his wife will be there as well.  I will be bringing the baby (800) this time.  Looking forward to seeing you all there.

rom:  RideOn (Scottrideon)  Aug-14 9:45 pm To: ALL (1 of 1) 15199.1 As of last week the Country Mountain Inn had 2 vacancies, possibly 4 for the week of DI '12. I couldn't tell for sure but it appeared as though we pretty much have most of it not the whole motel to ourselves. Due to feedback from locals the Pig Trail has become a pretty bad ride experience due to feral hogs and road surface conditions. Therefore the planned Wednesday ride 21/23 Pig Trail will be a modified Arkansas Dragon route. Worry not it will be a totally different ride from Thursday's Dragon ride. Will have info on T-shirt availability, prices, etc in a few. Will post so stay tuned. RideOn
