Merry Christmas to everyone hope you are able to spend sometime with your families and friends
Looking at possibly buying a used set of long shot exhaust system, but it is off a 800 classic just curious if they are interchangeable with the drifter. Pretty sure the engines are the same. Also are new gaskets easy to find? Thanks
Wow, I a man speechless just had visited him last week, minus the normal aches and pains seem to be fine, never know when your times up. Rip Andy my friend
Look greats in the photos, forgot what it looked originally but looks even better in person still amazed
Does that mean I am paying for coffee tomorrow
Well I guess to be fair I do sort of remember someone taking my picture but for the life of me can't remember his name. Nice enough guy though seemed to have a fair knowledge of drifters sometimes while talking to him. If I can remember his name I will let you guys know I am sure it will come to me.
But on another note, if I had seen Ratman I would have said his pics he posted of Raven does not do it justice , what an amazing design and look oh well maybe next time 😎
Finally hit double digits here today got out for a quick tour to break the ice sort of speak
In my case that is not the same guard I bought, mine was from value accessories. I checked their site and seem that I cannot find it there anymore got mar 2017. Mine attaches at the floor boards and then had to relocate my horn because it uses the bolt above the rad. Maybe call them using the part number above to see if they still carry them
Found the receipt
Engine guard Kaw. Vn 800 94-06 part no 02-3804 $115
I picked one up for my bike just over a year ago off of value accessories in the states went on fairly easy
Nice lifts for sure but the cost ouch
Hey guys finally decided on buying a lift for my 800 to start doing some work on my own. Just wondering what lift to get obviously my biggest fear is the bike falling over off the lift
Thanks
PS I am up in Canada so might be limited to options lol

No seat on yet still finishing off the better halfs list, this weekend will send over a pic
Just this past Friday was able to meet up with ratman I was passing through his area, minus letting him sit around a timmies for a half an hour waiting for some guy to meetup with him. Either there are too many timmies in north bay or I can not read the map he sent me I'll say the first part lol.
Just want to say thanks for your help and knowledge of bikes since I have only owned a drifter for a few years. I Know who to hit up if I have any questions or problems. Also showed the better half the seat and she laughed after I said she could start ridding with me now ,I will have to work on that lol, but it is also nice to go solo
And rpoturico reading too many threads at once lol

Hey everyone
Have been looking at older posts in regards to trying to find mounting brackets for my 2002 800. I emailed Osprey and he tells me he still make mounting brackets. I am just wondering if anyone has used them and can I install and saddlebags to the or do they have to be their bags.
I am up in canada and with our sit dollar and shipping it is cheaper to buy bags up here
Thanks
Evening everyone
Just joined and want to say hi, have been riding a 2002 800 located outside of ottawa Ontario
