Just took my new (to me) 1999 VN800 Drifter for a spin after washing it. Noticed the speedometer reading off by about 10-15 mph (too high) from what the speed probably is.
Question is...............could a bad cable be the culprit or am I having to look at a new speedo unit instead ? Could just a bad cable be at fault ?
I just figured out why my "Canadia" motorcycle's speedometer might be off................ ::) It's listed in "kilometers per hour" not "miles per hour".
Great, now I gotta figure out mph from kph.

LOL... yeah that will do it! I wonder if the MPH version is a direct replacement?
