According to our invalueable source here on our own site, the official code is 2004 Galaxy Silver Type 2/Ebony (686), which matches the information listed on Ron Ayers.  That doesn't help with the pinstripes though.

Interestingly, Color Rite doesn't list it either: http://www.colorrite.com/matrix-colors.cfm?CFID=3887463&CFTOKEN=21776377 (http://www.colorrite.com/matrix-colors.cfm?CFID=3887463&CFTOKEN=21776377)

Hmmmmmmmm................................

Take the tank or a piece of the pinstriping to a body shop and see if they can color match it for you... ie give you a paint code. They have the equipment to do that.

So there is none of the stripe left on the bike? If that is the case, you really don't need to match anything, correct?  I'd just select a color close to the original or that I liked!!

I'm not 100% convinced they used the same striping on every bike (of same color) made in a year. I can't prove it, but I have seen differences in the striping.

The drifter used an Oxblood Red Color in previous years... -

SKU # : 3755
Vendor : ColorRite

I will wager that is very close.

Or you could buy the pinstripe decal (about $40) and match it...

I can't find any info on the color of the pinstriping. Sorry I can't be of more help.
