The BMW R 1300 RT sport-tourer comes into 2026 with a few major updates, including a more powerful engine, updated styling, improved ergonomics, and a new chassis. The liquid-cooled boxer engine was bumped up from 1,245cc to 1,300cc, and both horsepower and torque were increased. The frame was updated to a new steel sheet metal unit, and suspension was upgraded with electronically adjustable EVO Telelever and EVO Paralever systems. The bike also includes adjustable seat height, an adjustable windscreen, and an adjustable handlebar.
Quinn Redeker takes a spin on the new R 1300 RT, equipped with optional Automated Shift Assistant. In this video review, he shares his experience with the new model and explains what it feels like to use BMW's ASA.
