Title: Maxing it out!

What is the max load capacity for a stock suspension 1500?  I can't seem to find that info anywhere.

Kawasaki doesn't provide a recommended maximum loading in their specs. With everything stock I think its going to be in the 400-450 pound range... that's inline with the rest of the vulcan line. Also you might want to look at the max load on the rear tire for some guidance.

I was looking at going to Progressive shocks, and that looks like it might be a good idea.

A diet looks like it might be a good idea too!

Yea, I put the 440's on mine. They have performed well for me. I got tired of trying to keep the air shocks set properly.
