Hey everyone!
I'm looking into purchasing a 2005 Drifter in the week ahead. The one thing that the owner (who purchased it new) has done is to replace the stock bars and risers with some sort of a flat narrow dragbar type of set up with tall risers. Unfortunately, over the years he has misplaced the originals, so I would like to know if anyone here knows if the bars and risers that Kaw. used on the Drifter 800 were bars that they used on other models as well, and if so, which ones? I'd like to get a replacement set ASAP as that is one thing that I'd like to change IMMEDIATELY after I purchase it as I don't personally like that look at all on a Drifter....Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

The bars on the 800 and 1500 are the same. Don't think any other models used the same bars.
I have a set of risers I believe - that I would sell or perhaps trade. You might want to replace the bars with an aftermarket set.

I have a set of stock chrome bars from my 1500 I might be induced to part with.......
Thanks for the replies Chief and Troll! How much would each of you sell the mentioned parts for (the stock risers and the stock chrome bars)? I went and gave the bike a good looking over and test ride today (WOW! What a fun ride these Drifters are!) and more than likely tomorrow I will go back up and purchase it and I'd like to get something figured out on replacing the bars ASAP.
