Title: clutch fluid replacement
Post by: gwilki on June 24, 2021, 18:07:51 PM
Next in line is to drain and replace the brake and clutch fluids. The service manual says that the first step after removing the master cylinder cover is to remove the alternator outer cover. I can get to the bleeder on the slave cylinder easily. Can someone tell me the point of removing the alternator outer cover?

The "R" models have a chrome cover over the whole left side. That is what they are talking about. You do not want to remove the alternator cover!

Tks, Troll. Looking at it, I definitely did not want to remove that cover.    :)
