Is the gas tank on a 2000 800 exclusive, or are they interchangeable with the 1500 or a standard Vulcan?
The tank had a few dents in it when I purchased the bike, I sanded it down to make the repairs to the dents and found old repairs.
I sanded down a few high spots so I could get a good paint job.
It turns out that I sanded a pin hole in the tank, and it?s leaking now!!!
The 1500 tank will not work. The tank from an 800 classic reportedly will work (haven't done it myself).
