Title: Trips Cancelled due to Covid-19
Post by: OR Seedman on July 17, 2020, 19:12:39 PM
Hello fellow Drifties.....I had several rides planned this summer, but due to Covid-19, I have had to cancel them....they were, in no particular order, as followes:

3 day trip down the Oregon Coast to Crescent City, CA for a stay in the Redwood Forest National Park.....now closed
3 day trip over to Eastern Oregon (loop route to the Snake River)....can't find any places to stay....all closed
2 day trip up to Mt. Saint Helens (overnight stay at local inn - now closed)

What plans have you guys had to cancel due to this freaking nightmare?  (at least I don't have to wear a mask at work out on my research farm)

Well, I'm not used to ride planning, as I prefer to decide time by time, once on the bike.
But I must admit that the fu**in' virus has left me some remora, so I have ridden ma-deuce just for short trips this summer (even though here in Italy we're finally out of the lockdown).
Hope in better days...

Well, there is nothing really closed around here. The state supreme court ruled that our commie/dictator/idiot "governor" couldn't impose his version of marshal law.  About the only things that have been canceled are the little town drunk fests.
