Been looking for a solo seat for my 2001 800 Drifter. Found a person parting out a 2001 Vulcan classic. Will the seat interchange?

If I do recall correct, Classic and Drifter solo seats are not interchangeable.
Unless you've got good skills in drilling, tapping and so...

no -- not a direct fit -- if you have the rails for A and the seat for A, it will fit, but A to B, nope. huge angle differences
