Wondering if anyone has a photo of the before and after installing a BA-2571-00 air injection removal kit on your drifter 1500. Also your thoughts on it's effectivness.
I have removed the AIS system on my Drifter 1500 and installed the plates.
The mod was not too difficult to perform but space is somewhat tight when it comes to removing the hoses and valve.
I did have an air leak until I replaced the gaskets that go under the plates.
I am pleased with the results. My bike was not slow to begin and picked up a bit more power as a result.
Knowing what I know now I would make the mod again but would plan on replacing the gaskets up front.
