Title: Completely stumped
Post by: AZCaveman on June 04, 2019, 23:24:55 PM
My wifes 99 1500.
It has no power on the yellow wire with white stripe.    Everything else works.  Have checked all fuses twice and replaced relays from my 02 1500.  Even replaced the ECU with the one from my bike.   Got not power to TPS.  No power to Power commander 3.
Recently replaced the TPS as it was defective.  Ran great for about 3 miles. It Shut off and will not fire the injectors.  Tried spraying gas in intake...it runs.  It appears I'm losing power to my injectors.  Any clues???

had similar issue this weekend...severe missfiring and sputtering.  would have a hard time starting at all.  After several hours of trouble-shooting various options, I finally disconnected and removed the aftermarket FI controller......runs perfectly now...

What is this, like 20 of them, so far? All the years I worked in the automotive industry (44), as a fuel control/emissions specialist, I never saw one aftermarket juice box that actually did anything but screw up the running

Now I'm gonna have to disconnect mine and see how it runs.
