Title: Been a while...
Post by: Wolf Six on May 28, 2018, 11:55:51 AM
Been a while since I posted, now that its riding weather and I've been able to get some handlebar time I'm reminded of a few mods I've been wanting to look into. Hope you guys can help.

Recently removed the baffles of my Vance and Hines long shots and added a hyper charger and now get backfires on deceleration and when I let off the throttle. I've been looking into various fuel management systems. Which do ya'll recommend?

Also, what other performance mods are available for the Drifter it make her a little more snappy and responsive?

I would look for exhaust leaks first. Since you changed your pipes this is the best place to start.

If you have eliminated exhaust leaks... I suggest a Cobra 2000 box. All pipes aren't created equal. My pipes created the decel popping etc. I put the Cobra on and it solved the problem with a single pot tweak.
