;D the last few
Great job & lots of cool ideas!
Most of all, I like the pocket watch, the front license plate and the oil dripper.
Now, it's time for you to get that beauty right on the street and keep on ridin'!
Well done on the steampunk theme! Now you need some heavy welder's goggles for when you ride Raven to complete the look! 8)
:o I have a Steampunk top hat and 2 pairs of vintage 1920's welder / motocycle (notice this was before they put the "r" into the word) goggles.....sorry picture to follow.......
What a Punk! I mean that with all due respect. ::)
8) :o ::)
That'll do, very nicely I might add.
That turned out really well. Great job.
Ratman - nice punk job.....mundane question - what size (diameter) are the round reflectors you chose front and back? Do you have source?
Look greats in the photos, forgot what it looked originally but looks even better in person still amazed
I think he told me once they were ATV reflectors from Canadian Tire?

I went ahead and replaced the rectangular reflectors on my bike as well, because I think round looks better, and here's the source that I used (they are 2 inch diameter and fit where the OEM reflectors were without modification) :

And this is the seller I used for the 2 inch RED reflectors, but I don't see that he has those now:

Amen, I agree to that. I have liked to watch his progress of the build over the winter, and loved seeing the pictures. I have really looked forward to seeing the bike in person, and hope someday that will come true.
What a Transformation Cool Raven and all the details and paint work...........Exceptional job
Not sure but a friend from Northern Ontario was looking into buying the bike, don't know what became of that but he hasn't mentioned anything about it lately. Could be he didn't get it.

How come we haven't heard from Ratman lately? Is everything okay? I'm in the dark down here in the Western US.

My understanding is that the personal property cannot be sold until the courts sign off on the will and probate , etc. Once the estate gets the green light, then the bikes and other stuff can be sold.
Tfrank: I put a link in the 800 section as well to the sad news post I first put in the general section. Has all the obituary info in it.
Hello All.....A fitting tribute , a picture of his vision....Ride on Ratman!!!....KEN.
Andy loved those bikes, he had a good winter transforming Pearl into Raven. I imagine he was in a lot of pain and some days couldn't hardly get down and work but he replaced every nut and bolt, fabricating most, was meticulous on his maintenance and work. Everything had to be clean like new. If something was the least off he replaced it. We all miss him but his knowledge lives on in this forum.

Yep, he kept the cleanest WWW tires around, they had to be spotless!
