I took some long awaited shots of my bike as I understand this forum admin likes lots of photos.
Nothing really special about this Drifter but I did just mount some wind deflectors and thought some folks might be interested in them.
Homemade out of an old windshield I had laying around. Was limited by the width by the highway crash bar clearance and height by the signal lights. Only had it our for one long trip but was in a ferocious cross wind so not sure about the efficiency. The wind did pause for a bit and I would guess at at least 60-70% less wind coming up from my legs to my face. I still may wear a full face but will look dorky with this style of machine. Was wearing my beanie while doing the wind test and had to put in earplugs to keep the wind off of my brain.

Very nice, Red and you have the same windscreen and then Raven and you have the same exhaust. Neat idea on the lowers I like that idea.....
the wind deflectors look good.. how did you mount them? can't really see in the pic
Already had existing mounts on the bottom which I zip tied to the fork. For the top I took a piece of 3/4 angle iron bolted it to the headlight mount. From there I bent the ends to get the right angle then drilled holes in glass and iron. Remove then paint.
Just one of those projects made with spare pieces and can't be duplicated.

Great looking wind deflectors. Excellent idea re-purposing the old windscreen and mounts.
