I have just picked up a 1500 to help out the 800 I had already and I have an issue with it already. So when I bought it there were no turn signals on the rear, just brake and running lights, the front right turn signal didn't work and the right lights up and stays solid. I installed a new tail light, turn signal assembly and the left side lights up front and rear but does not blink and the right side does not light up or blink. I am thinking the flasher relay has gone bad but would appreciate any input you may have on it also.
Are they regular bulbs or LEDs? Are your grounds all clean and tight? Bulbs clean at their bases? What wattage are the bulbs and what wattage is the relay rated at?
Probably not the flasher. Get out your test light and check for power and ground where it's supposed to be. The connector block for the rear fender lights may have a corrosion problem, so take off the little black plastic cover and pull it apart. You might also want to check the fuses, while your at it. The front turn signals also serve as position lights, so which filament is lighting up?
Ok, these are good suggestions, it was doing the same before attaching the rear lights, they are standard bulbs, looks like they were replacements with no running lights hooked up, 1156 bulbs. The rear assembly is LED but there is no change, solid left and nothing on the right. The inside of the turn signal does look pretty corroded, I may try to replace the front signals too or at least hook up some I have laying around to see if it would help.
Well you will not be able to run LED in the rear signal lights and regular bulbs upfront they need to be all one or the other.

Because LED's uses little power, often the relay thinks the bulb is out... causing hyperflashing and other problems. You can run standard bulbs up front with LED's in the rear, but you need a load resistor for the rear LED's. If you replace the front with LED you can get a new flasher module designed for the purpose which is much easier.
For your situation, I'd be looking to ensure I'm getting power to the impacted lights before anything else. You can isolate the problem that way.
That is correct. I have LED's with load resistors on the back of my NT700 with normal bulbs up front, mainly because it's such a pain to dig into the plastics to change bulbs that are working. I have new front turn signals to add in the next few days along with load resisters, if that doesn't make the right side start working, I will have to have someone trace down the electrical fault.
Like Troll said, I think the easiest thing to do is to get out the test light (assuming you have one - if not you can build one really easy) and just get down to testing where you have power (and ground) and where you don't. Start at the front (beginning) or the rear (end, ie. the light socket), it's up to you - I usually start at the end.
