I ask myself why do I ride as I sit on my bike sometimes ........I think about the cagers , about those that did not come home, about the cost of the bike and the gear, I think about the cold and the rain. Then as I start my bike I answer my own question when she roars to life . The power of the bike, the open road, the smells around you, that sweet smile from a pretty girl, a thumbs up from a young boy, the sound of a v-twin working it's way up a mountain pass or down a country road, it's the "well your back ok " look that warms the soul reminding you your cared for when returning . It's working and customizing your ride to be you then going 80 to see if it works. Riding a motorcycle is like poking a stick at something dangerous.
geezz......there's nothing I can add to that to make it more perfect! ;D

Many Bow's to you!
I think, while your riding, you are experiencing a 'one' with nature. The sights, smells, the wind caressing your face and the sound and vibration of your steed roaring through all these things like a proud powerful Lion in the jungle. Hoo har eh!!!....... or have i had to many beers..........................................mmmmmm! ::) ;D
All your worries melt away, you get such a wonderful closeness with life and the world around you.
And a 85 mph adrenaline head rush doesn't hurt either....... 8)
nicely put .I like the stick part. it put a smile on my face , like blow-en down the road at 75
