Title: 2004 Drifter 1500 Length of Clutch Line
Post by: hooholo on December 08, 2017, 20:36:40 PM
Aloha from the 50th State.  Bought braided brake and clutch lines from Spiegler.  The brake lines installed with no problem, but the clutch line was too short (69" tip-to-tip, probably 68" from the center of the banjo fittings).  My old clutch line measures 76" tip-to-tip of the banjos, probably 75" from the banjo centers, but Spiegler says that their specs show 68" center-to-center.  They also asked me to send the old line, but I reinstalled it when theirs didn't fit.  They say they're looking into it, but nothing is happening since late October.  I even sent them an eBay auction for a used clutch line, described as "about 75" long," but still nothing.  Could someone be so kind as to confirm that my clutch line measurement of 75-76" is indeed an OEM length?  Your help would be greatly appreciated.  A safe and joyous holiday season to all.

I'm also curious about this as I have purchased replacement clutch and brake lines (Goodrich - I think).  I'd hate to get all the way in there only to find out they won't fit.
