Been chasing an electrical problem and found burnt connection at the ground connector joint. Jumpered past the connector to confirm that this was the problem and I think this was the solution.
Never noticed this joint/connector until now. 14 pins connecting all of the ground wires together. Has anybody had to replace this? I can't seem to find this exact same part, but have found similar.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Whereabouts is the connector located - I'd like to have a look at mine.
Most of the Vulcan 1500 connectors are Furukawa - not sure about the one in your photo though. I've had good luck sourcing Vulcan connectors and pins from Easternbeaver.com (https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/main.html). They are very good to work with. I'd send him a picture of the connector to see if he can help with the shell and pins.

What year do you have ? I stripped my '99 and re-taped my whole wiring loom. I do not recognize this connector.

At Bucko, are you saying that this electrical supply company sells the male and female electrical connectors that Kawasaki uses? I asked my Kaw dealer to look up the connectors and was told they no longer supply them for the Drifter, I have been using the Canadian Tire brand that are big and crappy for new electrical connections ( Canadian Tire = Crappy Tire?). :)

Mine's an 01 but I'm not the one having the trouble (I'll add myself to the chorus of those that haven't seen that connector before_.

Eastern Beaver can supply the connector pins (not necessarily the connector shells but I think they will have at least some of them) - at least they did the last time I purchased a bag of pins - that was probably at least 10 years ago now. I coudln't get any connectors or pins out of any of the local Kawi dealers.
