Title: Ted's Drifter Shifters
Post by: chief on August 09, 2017, 16:38:21 PM
Ted is making a few more of the shifter kits and rear dresser bars. These will likely be the last!

Current and FINAL available inventory:

17 of the 1500 kits @$298
5 of the 800 kits @$329
5 sets of 1500 rear crash bars @$198

There is USPS shipping of $18.65 on each unless combined orders.

I've got my fingers crossed in the hope that you made my shifter kit back in 2000. I installed it on an 800 that I have long since parted with.  Now my left ankle isn't working & I'm again looking .  Do you have a site & are the kits still available ?
 Thanks, Shon

If I can chime in, I would really recommend those Ted's hand shifters as I've bought one a few years ago (He said that was the last one!) and I'm really happy with it (I've just switched the oem knob for an "8" billiard ball).  8)
People seeing it, always ask me what is it for; and when I explain them its use, they always like it!

If Ted is no longer making these and if anyone is interested in getting one, Malcolm Wilson in the UK is still making them for both the 800 and the 1500 model. He can be found on the VDOG UK Facebook page. He is a great guy to deal with in my experience.
