Hey Guys,
I have been on the forum since April of last year, but never did an introduction. I am 32 years-old and live in the Bay Area in Northern, Ca near San Francisco. I bought my 01 Drifter a few years back from an impound yard. The previous owner dropped the bike and got a DUI. So I got the bike for very cheap from the impound yard. It was pretty scraped up and filthy. Did not have much money to fix the bike so I drove it around looking scrubby haha. Recently I have been able to put some money into his beautiful machine and that is the reason I have been posting a lot of questions here. I love the Drifter. The only mod I have put on this bike is the V&H long shots. Other than that its all stock. All black with chrome. I am dying to powder coat all the chrome to black and paint the bike but that will be after I do some other things. I appreciate all the help you guys have provided already and the future help that you will provide as I am not "handy" when it comes to working on engines etc but I am learning. Again thanks for everything and looking forward to one day being able to provide some input to newbies here on the forum!

BTW, you'd better post some pics of your beauty, or you'll be hunted from the bunch of guys over this Forum who really love pics of Drifters...

Thanks! Ya I really like them. hoping to Ceramic Coat them in the near future. Really wanting the matte black look on this bike. Will decide paint color afterwards.
