short answer yes.
Ruined a perfectly good bike but you never know in this world their are people even nuttier that may buy this crap and by crap I mean that tricycle that's rusted and has a battery hanging from it's side with a pioneer headunit from the late 80s.
How anyone would trust this guys welding blows my mind. Gosh couldn't have washed it before the posting? Ok ok not so short. You know the worst part? He is getting rid of it because he built another one... Now that's the best part about the listing. "God this is sooooo perfect that I'm going to build another one"
I liked the part about "cause this is what i do" You mean take good bikes and turn them into this?
sorry i misquoted him, said I can make it 100% because this is my know-how.

no no the need an additional$1500 to make it 100% that's classic. 100% of 50% is 50% am I missing something?
He nuts and made one POS.
Yeah, he's definitely nuts...
I wonder why he has done such a massacre of a nice Drifter, by adding that orrible 2wheels combo...
I mean: I've already seen Drifters transformed as trikes, but never ever such a mischievous stuff!
That open drive shaft would worry me... :o
If this is his "know how" i'd hate to see what he is bad at. :-\
Come on you people really.......
Title : 1999 KAWASAKI DRIFTER 1500 CUSTOM BUILT DRIFT TRIKE MOTORCYCLE TRI RAT BIKE
Now this guy just might be a real artist, and you mittico68 of all the people slamming this poor man you who lives in a country well known for its love of art and really off the wall art stuff. Perhaps this is the man's way of expressing his love of the world of motorcycles.
Pilgrim you are from VA so leave it alone, DK, lol dude your in CA and you people out there also have a strange sense of art.
So read the info given you "Runs & Drives nice. Needs rear brakes, inspection and some cosmetic touch up. AS IS."
This is a RATROD machine, this is a form of art.......in the eye of a blind person for sure........lol....... 8)
I'll be the nice guy here. Of course Ratman's comments were kind. I wouldn't say the guy's nuts. I don't think he did a good job but there may be somebody out there who wants that thing and will pay good money for it. Concerning trikes in general I don't want one, I'm either a 2 or 4 wheels kind of guy, but to each his own.
::) Well thank you for the kind comments Tfrank59 but I would never pay $8,877.00 CDN for that marvel of motorcycle machinery. As you say there is someone out there that will like it........
Oh well, I'm not an art critic and my origin doesn't matter...
That THING is ORRIFIC!
And the worst part of that job is that the "artist" had the macabre courage to ruin a Drifter, for ever...
I guess that no one will ever buy it, regardless it needs additional outgoings...
HOLY RUSTY ANGLE IRON BATMAN!! Not only is it ugly you would have to get a push start to get this sucker rolling! Did you see the size of the trike tires on that monster?

Yes, he can ride it up to North Bay and you could raffle it off for a door prize. :D

he countered with 6500.... I wonder if he is aware what great strides the medical industry has gone through... Maybe it could help him.
Lol... ok counter with $7.75.........lol....yes I'll spot you the bankroll for this......
he dropped it to $5,500....NOW IS THE TIME TO JUMP ON IT! (sarcasm)

Don't you mean $5.50???
Y'all can quit bidding now. I just bought it for $40.00 and a pellet gun.
The only way I could justify this is if the rear end was hit by a train and somehow magically the rest of the bike survived. Not likely. Hopefully it gives it's life as parts to keep the rest of our machines running.
Here's a pic for those who didn't grasp the real carnage the first go-round. Yikes!
Think of the work and parts it took, all he got was $5,500.00. You are always better to be the guy that bought it from the guy that built it. ::) (If that's your thing)
No, he didn't get $5,500 for it; pretty sure it didn't sell (some of us were actually watching ;D), so he's stuck with it for now. maybe he'll re-list it and at that point should realize that it's not worth even close to what he was asking previously. According to the guys on this forum, his starting bid should be more like 2 bits.
At the risk of a rebuke from Ratman I would say it's a piece of crap.
Vegas Rat Rods................
actually looking at the Elgin AFB sticker on the windshield....my niece and her husband are stationed there....I going to ask if they have seen it around...and to send me some more pics...just for fun :o
