Jack could you tell me how much space there is between your crash bar and the back of the front fender if you put pressure down on the forks? The reason I am asking is I purchased a bar (below link) for my 800 Drifter only to find out that the previous owner must have lowered the forks about 1in or so bc the crash bar would hit the back of the front fender with pressure applied. That is a killer price but want to see if there would be enough clearance first.

Sorry I can't check the fender because I sold that drifter . But check my photos these bars I installed myself . There is no way they will hit the
fender. these bars are cobra . They are to fit a Vulcan 800 cassic . they will fit you bike just fine . when installing any bars . one may have to
tweek a little . They work great . Take a look . Go on ebay type in COBRA 1 1/4 " HIGHWAY BARS 01/1420 TAKE A LOOK there are good prices there .
Please let me know how it go's .

Did the search but all those listed say they will not fit drifter 800's in the search field.
Sorry about your search . but this bar will fit a drifter . I would never suggest someone to spend their money and buy this item if I
thought it would not work . These cobra bars are on my 2002 in my photos and on my 2001 drifter my brothers 2001 800 drifter .
they work . May I suggest you try them . Buy from a store that has returns OKAY
