Ok so I been thinking of the average age of Drifter riders. Seeing as my leg is really bothering me and I am sort of not moving about a lot today, I decided to conduct a very scientific venture into this project.
So we have 17 pages of members, I went through all seventeen pages, and roughly 30 names per page. Of course page 17 does not have a full page, and this information tells us we have about 491 members on the members pages. Now of that 94 people were brave enough to actually put their age on the bio section. The youngest age in the bio section was 22 years old and the oldest one was 72 years old. Some of you people are old....but anyway I added all the ages up, and boy oh boy I needed both feet and an abacus to get the numbers out.
So the average age with that information available is that our riders are 51.063829 years old.......

What a coincidence! That just happens to be my exact age!
I got tired of the dark brown hair and had the stylist put titanium hilites in my hair. Sadly there is few real Barber shop left in the world.......

So based on your "average" of 51, that puts me "below average" in age!!!
Well really I am thinking it is higher then 51 because if more people had put their ages on their profile it would be different. I still think the average age of 51 is pretty good and leaves you and I one of the few under that age, and a lot of people well over that age.....

I'll reveal my age. I'm 63 1/2. Know what you mean about those aches and pains. Have arthritis in neck, back and big toes. Doctor gave me meloxicam a NSAID and it works wonders, just one a day. Not a painkiller or narcotic or anything like that but it is a wonder drug. I was having trouble walking and now it doesn't bother me.
Still work some as a tilesetter. Only time things don' ache is when I am working.
age in C or F now that would be interesting......

I wonder who helps him on and off his bike.
Sorry they do not have to put their birth month in the profile, but I am under the impression he has been told most of his adult life were to go and when to get off....lol.....
But just think he is now at the top of the list and it is not a wanted list, nor any other bad list......and a lot of the younger members can only hope to be as youthful as this member is when they are in their 60's....lol.......
We should get this guy to be a member of VDR's. He could go right to the top of the list.
That gentleman has been in contact with me and he is planning on attending Northern Drifter Rendezvous. Perhaps I need to get a trophy for the oldest rider........
The kicker is he wants to camp rather than in a motel....lol.........
As a side note all you forum members should purchase the Feb 2017 edition of the magazine RoadRUNNER Motorcycle Travel and Touring Magazine and check out page 106..........

I just checked your profile and see you are 99 years old. So which article are you talking about here? The one on the scooter riders? :)
I prefer to powdercoat my hair.
Finally someone saw it....lol......Hoggy you will just have to wait for the Feb issue of the magazine to come out, I have a complimentary issue sitting on my desk right now........

I've seen it. So it's either the article on the 2017 Tour of Honor Motorcycle ride, or given that we now know you are 99, it could be the article on scooter riders.

Mr. Hoggy, not sure which magazine you are looking at but, in the February 2017 issue there is no article of 2017 Tour of Honor Motorcycle ride nor any article on scooter riders.
I am talking about RoadRUNNER Motorcycle Touring and Travel and the Feb 17 issue, and it has not hit the stands yet, it only comes out 6 times a year and is one really awesome touring magazine. This issue has a story of the TT races in the Isle of Man, Utah, the Trail of Tears, Bolivia,and a fantastic picture on page 106...........
I used to be 51.063829 but that was 18.826171 years ago.
So now you are 69.89 pretty neat........lol........
